Sr. Business Consultant

Summary:

The Sr. Business Consultant is responsible for developing and executing new business strategies for the US region. This includes identifying and qualifying new leads, developing and delivering sales presentations, and negotiating and closing contracts. The Sr. Business Consultant will also work closely with the product design team to ensure that the agency's services are tailored to the needs of each client. This will be a senior position in the industry, not full time, and paid on a commission basis as you land new business.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute new business strategies for the US region
  • Identify and qualify new leads
  • Develop and deliver sales presentations
  • Negotiate and close contracts
  • Work closely with the product design team to ensure that the agency's services are tailored to the needs of each client
  • Manage client relationships
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of the US market and the needs of US businesses
  • Track and report on sales performance
  • Leverage your network of connections to gain access to new business opportunities

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field
  • 12+ years of experience in business development or sales, preferably in the product design industry
  • Proven track record of success in closing deals
  • Strong understanding of the US market and the needs of US businesses
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong network of connections in the US business community

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in business administration or a related field
  • Experience with CRM and sales automation software

Working Conditions:

  • Contractual
  • Remote (California)

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Commission-only structure based on projects secured.
  • Percentage of total project value as commission (10%-25%).
  • No cap on commission earnings.
  • Flexibility to work with other full-time jobs or freelance projects.
